iPhone Grayscale Mode – Guide
💡 This tutorial shows you how to set your phone’s screen to grayscale by default, with a handy shortcut to activate colors for 3 minutes before automatically reverting back to grayscale.

Activate Every Morning:

1. Install App: Download the official Apple "Shortcuts" app: » Shortcuts App

2. Create Automation:
- Open the app and tap the "Automation" tab.
- Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner.
- Select "Create Personal Automation".

3. Define Time:
- Choose "Time of Day".
- Set your desired time (e.g., 6:00 AM).
- Choose "Run Immediately".
- Tap "Next" in the top right.

4. Add Action: Tap "New Blank Automation" and then select "Add Action".

5. Search for Filter: In the search bar, type "Set Color Filters" and select the action.

6. Activate Filter: Ensure the toggle is set to "On". Then tap "Done" in the top right corner.
Set Up Quick Access for Color Mode
👆 The iPhone color filter enables color display on the iPhone for 3 min and then automatically switches back to grayscale.

2. Add Widget to Control Center:
- Slide down from the right corner of your iPhone to open the "Control Center"
- Keep your thumb pressed to „Add a Control“ from the bottom

3. Add the Shortcut:
- Search for "Shortcuts" and add the "iPhone Colorfilter".
- (You can later choose between a small or a large button for the Control Center)
Keep Colors On for Longer (e.g. for Navigation)

To bypass the 3-minute timer that automatically reverts to grey, activate color mode via the Control Center, then simply stop the command. The colors will remain active until you manually turn them off again or until the next day
